Sunday 6th December Final Shoot

So we got our re-scheduled shoot finished :) luck was on our side and so was the weather.
When checking the weather for Sunday 6th December it was forecasted to rain, however our luck had changed and it did not rain on us, so we were able to go ahead with the shoot.
We had followed our filming schedule as always and as a result of this we were finished 2 hours earlier than expected which was great as it was rather cold.

When looking over our footage from Tuesdays shoot we had to re shoot one scene, this is when big Alex is being chased by Lucas, it had to be re shot as it was a hand held camera technique and had not come out as we had expected. We had re shot the scene in a new area in the same woods, it was a clear path and was much easier for me to run with the camera, rather than the other part of the woods which was more enclosed and was not very levelled.

The most notable scene to me was when Lucas was standing behind the trees by himself, when filming this it was scary looking and effective as from the storyboard to reality it looked perfect. Another favourite part of filming was chasing after big Alex (hand held camera scene), it was fun as we didn't use the steady tripod (Mr Tripe) this had taken me outside my comfort zone of a steady image.

Whilst filming in the woods the most tricky part was to get the tripod level as the ground was very uneven in some areas, however I had overcome this problem by adjusting the length of the tripod legs.

Our three main actors were little Alex played by Hanan, Lucas by Matt and Big Alex by Sarah. They had done a brilliant job and was easy to work with them. Even though we had made them stand in one location for some time (Matt), run down the path a few times (Hanan) and sit on the muddy floor (Sarah) whilst acting to be hurt. They had done a brilliant job :).
